Recipe: Protein Balls

The perfect treat anytime, day or night, snack or dessert! You can use any flavour protein in yours, in my most recent batch I used the special edition Gingerbread PranaOn Protein and it was AH-MAZING.

+ 2x scoops protein (as I mentioned, I always use PranaOn as it is plant based and better for my gut)
+ 1 cup sultana’s
+ 1 cup almonds
+ 1 cup shredded coconut
+ 1/2 cup coconut oil
+ 2 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup OR honey
+ 1/3 cup chia seeds
+ 1/3 cup peanut butter (I use Mayver’s as it is all of the good stuff with no sugars or preservatives added)

In a processor, throw in the sultana’s, almonds and coconut oil and blend til it is your preferred consistency. Some prefer chunkier than others! Mix in the rest of your ingredients by hand.

Roll the mixture into balls, using a teaspoon or tablespoon is a good guide to ensure they’re all roughly the same size. Cover & place in the fridge to firm up.

They’re ready to be eaten whenever you’re ready to eat them!

Usually this makes around 21 balls in a teaspoon size.
